This is also not necessarily true. In NV, for instance, Bernie's leads over Biden in 1st preference vote, 2nd preference vote, and state delegate equivalents were 16.4%, 21.6%, and 26.6%, respectively. That probably won't be true in every state, but a situation where Bernie has a 2% delegate lead and Biden has a 1% popular vote lead is totally possible.
