We're seeing evidence of multiple strains and reports of people that are cleared ending up reinfected.

Most of that data is coming from flawed or unverified sources, though. The prevailing assumption right now is that this is actually a situation where in some cases someone starts to overcome their symptoms and is falsely declared "cured" before the same infection reaggravates and symptoms flare up again, which is something that can easily happen with other strains of the flu.

We have yet to see a proven case of actual strain mutation (yet), which is what is generally required for reinfection to occur. And even if it does mutate, mutation doesn't just mean you can reacquire it, it'll likely also alter other variables like contagion factor and mortality, so even if it does mutate, it might not be a bad thing.

It could certainly happen, though. We'll probably have to wait until next year to see how strong this comes back.

The problem with time travel, is you end up with an infinite recursion of trolls travelling back to the point just before you did.

The real problem with time travel is that you eventually wind up with someone going back, changing the past, and altering events to the point where time travel is never invented in the first place.

So even if we lived in a universe where time travel was possible, and where paradox-free altering of the past could occur, any such universe by definition would eventually self-regulate itself to a state where time travel is never invented.
