I think pictures do play a role in performance. Oh, they do. It has to be a pretty drastic example for it to make a noticeable difference, but those do exist and they happen more often in sprite rounds. Snake/Frog is the ultimate example of that. I'm not even saying the ME2 pic made any difference.
