Also, that quick flashback to Nibelheim got me so hyped to see the real thing in episode 2...or 3...or who knows, but either way, it's gonna be great! Battle system is fun, but I'm always bad at defense with this style. Never died though! The Scorpion Sentinel fight was pretty cool. Loving all the banter between Cloud and the rest of Avalanche, too! Interesting twist to show Shinra blowing up Reactor 1 themselves. I guess it's technically a change, but it does fit with what they would do, so it's no big deal. In the original, Jessie does mention that the explosion was more powerful than she expected, so they could take that and run with it here.
