That would prevent the spread through touching the paper bags etc (and only use 1 napkin a pop). To pay is another story though, but the customer could try and pay with exact change etc, or say keep the change if they don't want to risk touching it. Using a napkin would prevent any cross contamination by the person working the window, and is cheap and easy to do.
