I mean yes this is the point. Apparently not enough people give a shit about systemic injustice because they aren't suffering as a result, but perhaps if enough riots are started then those people will begin to feel threatened.

To be clear I think the protesters have gone way too far here, but I think the mindset is easy enough to understand.
