I would have high hopes. Anyway, it'd be cool to give rise to a threat so immense that it becomes necessary to find a way to restore the chain to previous Avatars. It's thought to be impossible, but many things are thought to be impossible in the Avatar universe until they are done. It's not like Raava knows for a fact it's impossible.
