I mean fair. I would argue there are benefits to a stranglehold in limiting damage but our cops are only the most basic of trained. It is going in that direction but still kind of misses the point. Cops do a lot of terrible shit beyond just chokeholds. For example no-knock raids that result in civilian deaths. You would think these no knock raids are used with discretion but apparently such discretion is incredibly blurred. At the end of the day it becomes once again about accountability. Article below.
