In hindsight it's clear we've always had a problem with racism and science denial. Both of those have become much more clear to me as I've dissociated from them.

But I cannot for the life of me believe that the majority of people in my party actually approve of this absolute sociopathic imbecile in the White House. Nearly everything he says is a lie, everything he does is clearly for his own personal gain... it's bonkers. And for so many people in power to just casually wave off QAnon's growing insanity is dangerous.

I don't know what the hell happened, but there's no way in Hell I could ever vote for anyone in the GOP again if this is who they really are (or at least, who they've become)

I'm absolutely positive I can't be the only one who feels this way, too. The GOP had a lot of problems even before all this mess, I'll admit, but they've cast their lot with a man who clearly is willing to wreck every facet of government and social support in a vain attempt to not take responsibility for anything.

It's treason. The dude is a traitor.

My uncle has been a Republican his entire life, and he said this will be the first election ever he votes Democrat. He voted Trump in 2016, and when I saw him last month he was just going off talking about how much of an idiot Trump is.
