I seriously doubt this is possible.
Damn near. Tv is too easy to assist with parenting which is part of the reason why I refuse. I know all too well how hypnotizing it is to sit kids in front of a screen while I do other things.

TV shows teach little kids stuff like colors and counting. You can have them do arts and crafts and just limit the amount of time that they watch tv. Banning it altogether will just make it harder for them to connect with other kids. I didn't have a problem with number 2 except I think its cringey and weird to force them to get a car with a manual transmission. If they don't care about cars then its much more convenient for them to use an automatic. And once again you could just limit the amount of sweets and junk food that they eat. What's the problem with having it sometimes? Even if you forbid them from eating it, they'll just get it from their friends or buy it for themselves eventually
Books and pictures can teach colors and counting. I'm not worried about connecting to other kids based on television they watch. And again I don't understand how it's cringe to teach people how to drive stick shift. You say I'm forcing them? Wouldn't it also be forcing them to learn how to drive auto?

I already know their aunts and uncle slip them candy, and their grandma buys McDonald's.
