Halloween IV is a missed opportunity for me because it was originally supposed to be part of Carpenter's planned anthology series, where each movie (after the first 2) would focus on something other than Michael Myers. Too bad that after Halloween 3, everyone demanded Michael back (the film didn't even do poorly financially).
