Halloween IV is a missed opportunity for me because it was originally supposed to be part of Carpenter's planned anthology series, where each movie (after the first 2) would focus on something other than Michael Myers. Too bad that after Halloween 3, everyone demanded Michael back (the film didn't even do poorly financially). I'll always wonder what kind of interesting horror films could have been released under the Halloween name. And what's weird is they could've had thier cake and eat it too. They could've made the Halloween anthology films and Myers films too I think. I mean I don't even like H3 but more original films would've still been neat.
