I'm hoping I can turn them into a viable melee/spellcaster hybrid like NWN2. Hopefully Goblins are playable at some point too. I don't think they're on Larian's list of planned implementations, but it seems to be a popular request. Also worth noting, that gnomes aren't available in early access. Seems just a bit weird given that they're a staple of the original series and EA has a bunch of races new to Baldur's Gate as well as various subraces. I'm happy though.
