Also, as someone who likes the new characters, they are all shoehorned directly into your path with unavoidable cutscenes. Not ideal at all for a game you're supposed to experience and explore at your own pace. Not even the most prominent party members from the originals got that treatment except for one and it wasn't nearly as intrusive.
