Boomers vote. Until a few years ago, Boomers had more voting power than the younger generations combined. We are literally waiting for older generations to die off to replace them because one generation is so much larger than the others.
It wouldn't be so bad if the younger crowd would participate more. People don't ever vote or research their representatives and then claim that their vote doesn't matter because the system doesn't work for them. I don't think it'll change over night, but a system where mostly older white people are participating is going to work more for older white people.
