| Topic | What game were you looking forward to but when it came out it was terrible? |
| Zeus 10/23/20 2:16:04 PM #13: | Legendary: The Box (we only got a fraction of what was promised, and it had a lot of issues) Pokemon BW (terrible story for the campaign, worst first gym) GTAIV (which sucked the fun out of the franchise) Pokemon Go (which has consistently been a glitch-filled mess, with new bugs replacing old ones... and then old ones coming back) Pokemon Coliseum games (tiny maps, battles drag on forever, purify mechanic was stupid) Gauntlet (2014) (kinda neutered everything that made the older games fun) Lokarin posted... The Gauntlet remake... it's completely soulless If you mean the most recent Gauntlet, that wasn't a remake although it was certainly massively disappointing because they decided to go the Doom route instead of sticking with the more casual, fun mechanics the games were known for. And it was disappointing.
