As someone who played what I'd consider the first generation 3D MMOARPGs (raiderz and tera), black desert was this mythical product that was going to come out and do everything right that these games did wrong bringing MMOARPGs out of their uncomfortable infancy. Instead, it was worse than either one, had zero pve content, and was designed to encourage making as many alts as physically possible. The core combat, while looking cool, was mechanically worse than it's predecessors. Halo 3, then reach, then 4 also rate highly as disappointments. Halo 3 was still a great game but I was hoping for better than halo 2 and I found it to be 1 step fowrard, 2 steps back in a lot of areas. --- I'm ninja (you can't see me) ... Copied to Clipboard! |
