Oh, its gonna be a shitshow either way. Whichever side wins, the other isn't going to accept the results. Both have said as much. And with all the mail in ballots... well those probably won't even be completely sorted out until weeks after the election, possibly months. There's a solid chance this election ends up in the supreme court which is part of the reason that I believe republicans really want to confirm barrett
In all honesty, despite my personal dislike of Trump, I am a big fan of him standing up to the CCP. I find it hard to believe Biden won't bow his head to corporate interests and let the concentration camps, invasion of Taiwan, etc. go unanswered for. Maybe I am wrong, and everyone has changed their tune on that regime now, but I have this bad feeling that Taiwan has a better chance of being defended with Trump than with Biden. War is coming, and it's better to face it when your opponent is weak. If France and the UK said no to Hitler when he remilitarized the Rhineland, WWII would've likely not happened. There'd have been some minor regional stuff in a couple hotspots, maybe.

To be my own devil's advocate though, Biden will repair international relations by and large that Trump devastated. So a united front in that way is a better deterrent.
