You know, I'm usually the first to dunk on OhhhJa, and I know you're joking here, but this is probably worth pointing out: black metal has a huge Nazi problem to the point where there is a subgenre called National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM for short). It's infected the scene so much that many black metal bands without explicit hate speech in their music still end up having Nazi connections.

Panopticon is actually on the other end of the spectrum of black metal, which is much smaller (though growing in recent years). Panopticon is so leftist they are sometimes called "Red/Radical Anarchist Black Metal" (or RABM for short). I'm legit surprised OhhhJa likes them, but I imagine it's "just for the music".
As long as you aren't a nazi, I don't really care. Music transcends politics for me. But yes, black metal does tend to have more of that than other genres but none of the black metal i listen to is into any of that. I'm just a metal guy in general. I just like listening to it and playing it. Metal generally skews heavily left and so do many of my friends. You wouldn't get on a festival like fire in the mountains if you had nationalist/nazi ties. Let's not bring politics into this thread though
