With the start of the new year, I always feel extra motivated to do projects and challenges just to see how much I can push myself and learn to grow. One of many things I thought would be fun is post and recommend a new song every day, whether it's an old worn favorite or something I just heard a minute ago. I'll discuss the track with a short blurb, nothing too crazy, well, depending on my mood maybe! Whether this lasts a day, three months, or by miracle, the whole year, I hope this helps at least one person find a new song they'll love, and hey, feel free to join on your own recs too. Literally any type of song will go, so expect a healthy grab bag of stuff.

Appropriate title. A soothing light bluegrass/country sound, I adore Rhonda's inflections and the lyrics just transport me to a world of total bliss and intense relaxation. It's the type of song I would take with me on a solo hike or crisp, cool walk. The variation on the chorus lyrics are great touches and really emphasize that feeling of trying many things and still not really finding yourself in the end. It's in the middle ground between hopeful and melancholy, and hell if that isn't the best place to get your new year transition rolling off just right.
