This was my exact thought process playing through Y3 since I actually enjoyed it lol. ~~Akiyama~~ is the best thing about Y4 in my opinion. Absolutely amazing character. But I think the beginning is actually the game's high point. Agreed completely. It slows down considerably after that. One thing I liked about 4 is how it really makes Kiryu feel like he's on top of his game. He is the last character you play as, and has a ton of the low level abilities already filled out and he has his ultimate attacks at the ready. You play as him and feel like it's time to end this shit once and for all.
