Also I'll call you out on your "w-w-well if you round up a percent..." bs because that isn't true either.

Being vaccinated reduces the risk of death by somewhere in the range of 99.5-99.7%. That rounds up to 100, even without considering that breakthrough deaths have been pretty much entirely restricted to people much older than 47 and that the risk reduction is even higher for her demographic.

I shouldn't have to mentally cover over your misinformation, you shouldn't have posted it in the first place. Other people skimming the topic might have been tricked by it if I hadn't called you out.

How's this, then: I would stake my own life on the belief that, had she been vaccinated, she would still be alive. In fact, I literally have, given that I'm relying on that same vaccine to protect me from such a fate. The odds of a fully vaccinated 47-year-old dying of Covid are so infinitesimally remote that I am as comfortable ignoring that possibility as I am ignoring the possibility that a meteor crashes into my house.

If you genuinely believe that my statement was misleading in any meaningful capacity, I invite you to provide evidence of the practical impact it might have had if not for your intervention. If not, you should really stop clinging so desperately to this apparent opportunity to pretend you're smarter than me. You're not fooling anyone, so it's really just embarrassing to watch. While you're at it, I advise that you stop trying to look for such opportunities. You simply don't know enough about the subject to ever find a real one.
