Turning around again you swim aggressively downstream, riding the current. This is taking you further away from home but you're confident the river must run somewhere advantageous eventually. After a prolonged period of brazen but uneventful swimming, It's becoming dusk. The one good thing is that rusting sound is long behind you. Wait, two good things! You can see the faint outline of what seems to be a village in the distance. The river expands wider and deeper back into more of what you're used to until it leads directly into a large pond right on the outskirts of the village. As you enter the pond and get closer to the village you look at the buildings and notic.... Notice the....the... what is that...? Suddenly all your attention is focused on a glowing worm/grub like entity floating directly in front of you. It's just bobbing around so alurringly in the water. It's the most beautiful thing you've seen in your entire life. It just looks so... delicious. Your sense of smell and taste is overwhelmed by a powerful aroma that is beating down your brain like a hailstorm. It has been so long since you've eaten... thoughts of the village or your Grandfather exit your mind as all you can think of is dinner and how much you crave it . You realize you've been unconsciously drifting closer and closer until you are an inch away from the bright entity, It's almost touching your mouth. It already feels amazing... What do you do? A.
