C. Trainer! I choose you!

You throw your pokeball with your mouth, you've gotten pretty good at that although it doesn't go far underwater.

Suddenly Trainer emerges before you, blocking almost the entire tunnel with her body.

To say the Carvanha gang were surprised is a understatement, although that surprise turns into puzzlement as Trainer thrashes around, pawing frantically at the tunnel ceiling.

Trainer: "Bublbblmmglaaabbbbbbbbl! BLblblugh!"

Oh yeah. You kind of forgot that she needs oxygen to breathe. Well at least she's between you and the Carvanha, blocking the tunnel. That is until all five of them start gnawing at her legs.

Trainer: "Mblglmmmmmmghjh! MAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGHAGHLLBBLBLL!"

You're afraid they're going to munch and squeeze their way past her to you until Trainer starts kicking wildly, catching a few of them with her toes. A moment later, all the Carvanha's faces turn from sadistic grins into fearful expressions of dread. Then suddenly they turn around and desperately flee into the tiny holes they ambushed you from.

Ha. Serves them right. Guess they were just cowards after all. You didn't get your money back. But at least you kept your scales.

Then the large shadow engulfing you from behind makes you realize they weren't scared of you or Trainer but something else. You turn around to find yourself face to face with a Sharpedo that has teeth the size of your dorsal fins.

You're way too big for the holes the Carvanha escaped into and the humans are useless here. This thing could eat your entire family in seconds.

It just stares you directly in the eyes, you start to tremble as your entire life flashes before your eyes... Damn you were boring. You gulp and mentally apologize to your grandfather for failing him.

Sharpedo: "Sharpedo Sharpedo Sharpedo Sharpedo Sharpedo." (Hey Karp, your human is drowning)

Then in an uncharacteristic display for a legendarily aggressive pokemon, it grabs Trainer by the arm with its mouth and drags her out of the tunnel and back to the surface. After your body eventually stops trembling you follow it. Not like you have much choice.

Trainer: "BWAhhhhhHUh..puff..puff... bwa...wha.... What the heck is going onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!?" she squeals after breaking the surface.

You decide it's probably a good time to withdraw her back to her pokeball. If the Sharpedo had wanted to fight, you'd be dead already.

Sharpedo: "Sharpedo Sharpedo Sharpedo? Sharpedo. Sharpedo." (So what are you doing in my little village? Karp don't live around here, I've been waiting for one for a long time. Don't lie to me, I'll know.)

Somehow you find him more scary than the 5 Carvanha trying to attack you.

F. Leave the village. This place is crazy and if I head closer to home, which I need to do anyway, prices go down.
