Well, that was a mistake, S2 has devoured what remained of my key stash. I'm generally using a few Record Markers on late S1 dungeons daily in order to acquire enough keys for a S2 manual run. There has never yet been a scenario where I find a Treasure Painting and have to leave without getting the artifact, but there certainly are times now when I choose Red Combat over Exploration, just 'cause Red Combat will never cost a key! --- I don't like this duchy.
