Like, why did they go out of their way to make Fate/Extella such a confusing mess just to Shaftify it, why did that show need that? Meanwhile look at say, WIT, with something super recent like Ousama. They flex all their directorial and studio talent but manage to do so while still keeping the full core of it's intentional and charming throwback aesthetic.
