But reproduction isnt its only purpose. Its just one of its purpose. The other purpose is pleasure. Things can have more than one purpose. Many people use it for the second purpose, even if they dont use it for the first Youre getting too caught up in one part of sex. If all sex was for was to reproduce, then we would do what the animals do and just have sex without consent. Which happens in the animal world quite often. And many animals can also have painful sex (ex. Cats) They dont have pleasurable sex, but still reproduce often But the point still stands that pregnancy is just a consequence of sex sometimes. But that doesnt mean it was wanted, not consented to Its just a consequence Sex has more than one purpose.
