Well I can argue from the point of view of a person who likes Darcy.

She's definitely making a lot less jokes in Wandavision and the character comes off as a lot more competent in general. There's a clear difference to me and I actually prefer her in non-Wandavision appearances because of that, because I'm not ready to see her in a role where she seems like she knows what she's doing-- it's a bit abrupt.
