It sucks man and i dont think anyone on CE can really understand the situation you're in.

I watched my dad try to kill himself after his stroke. My therapist had to essentially tell me that my feelings were valid. Even if what they were going through is bad and horrific what you feel still matters.

I would just say be there for your wife through it all but dont ignore how you feel.

I believe DarthDemented also lost his wife and I recall being in a couple of other topics like this before too. It seems it's becoming a more common thing as this place ages. It's still incredibly unfortunate and way too young of course. The best we can do is to have something to remember them by to honor their memory.
