I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that anyone on this site who uses the words "Republican" or "Democrat" in a post, or "Right"/"Left" in a political context, should be instantly auto-banned.

It would dramatically cut down on the constant dick-swinging and shitposting from both sides (and yes, both sides seriously need to shut the fuck up). Because it's incredibly annoying at this point, and it tends to ruin even topics that start out completely unrelated to politics or current events.

If you can't stop whining about politics on an obsolete video game message board, you've gone seriously fucking wrong somewhere in your life. Start channeling all that energy into fixing whatever's wrong with you. Or go do something that's actually productive to support the political views you claim to support.

If you're basically just standing on two sides of a room and constantly flinging shit at each other, all you're really accomplishing is making the room really, really shitty.
