Even if I did spend 8 hours reading up on history, I'm pretty sure it would go out the other ear because I have an engineer's brain more than a history buff. I just sort of hone in on "how things work" more than "exactly what happened when and where". Serious ADHD in regards to this stuff. (yes, diagnosed) You know what would be cool? A world map of all history. So you have something like Google maps where you can change the slider chronologically and little details would change on the map like events and borders.
