The highest highs it hits are so amazing, but plenty of tracks drag the album as a whole down. There are two songs over nine minutes? Ugh. Sometimes this album makes me ask "is this really Green Day?" I just don't know how you can open on an absolute 10/10 banger and follow it up with a 9 minute slogfest. Still, the top songs make it worth it.
