do you know what "have to close this location" means for a billion dollar company?

It means that location isn't AS profitable as the rest without investing money back into it. Shit, a corporation raking in as much money as Walgreens? They really don't even NEED a given location to be profitable. They COULD, god forbid, eat a minor loss and say "Out of our 4 billion dollar annual profits, we are still making 3.99 billion a year if we keep running this store that costs us 100,000 a year. And it'd be the right thing to do since we're the only pharmacy in town."

OH AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?

in the state of California alone Walgreens was found guilty of over four million in STOLEN WAGES?

You don't get to pretend you HAVE to shut down a store that costs too much because of shoplifting while simultaneously stealing millions from your workers and lining the CEO's pockets with it.

Right, it went to court and the workers are getting a payout. How the hell does that justify shoplifting ?

You guys complain about high prices but what about the cost of security guards due to rampant theft? You just want free stuff? Go apply for food stamps and welfare instead of committing crime. We have a system for that.
