I'm curious what stipulations there were for Rex's casting, because they can't have a pre-determined placement for him. Obviously they picked him since he's a very memorable NFL coach despite not having too great a legacy. (The interim head coach of my college team, who's leaving after the bowl game, is one of the extremely few guys on his coaching tree. He played for Rex but was his most trusted field general, so it counts.) Happy for ~~Derek and Claire~~. They've really made the most of their time on CBS.
