!Great lyrics and a classic sound that doesn't get nominated often; it's not my favorite genre, but it does stand out as being a fairly unique selection & rather enjoyable.

[Final Thoughts: Sadly, I don't shift into a gorgon upon hearing this any longer... -but- I do really like this and the variety it provides, so I'm immediately giving it a 10 point boost to its score.]

(First Reaction: A simple and pretty song that I think might wind up making it considerably higher on the list by the time I'm through. It has all the makings of being one of those songs where I'll get ready to eliminate it, spontaneously go "no, this is too pretty to eliminate just yet", and completely throw everything out of whack as it keeps narrowly avoiding elimination at the last minute.

And if not, at the very least, i'd be shocked if this ever dropped below the 70 point tier. This kind of quiet beauty seems to be something I'm reasonably into at the moment--not automatic first place into, but certainly at the "quite liked this"level of into-ness.)

!Much more into anger than beauty at the moment, but even so, this song remains at the "really like" tier.

(First Reaction: I'm impressed with how accurately Google Translate handles this description of someone reviewing the song:

This song uses a narrative method to tell the once carefree, once youthful youth. Coupled with Xu Zhinuo's clean and slightly sad interpretation, the listeners feel that the beautiful scenes flashed by, as if returning to those innocent years . This song is like a faintly smudged ink painting, narrated softly...

"Youthful youth" is a bit redundant, but wow, that is rather poetic song reviewing. Song is pretty; I'm not as captivated by it as the above reviewer, but I can't say I disagree with their assessment.)

(First Reaction: A song with a dramatic build towards... nothing, really, since it ends at a point where something should happen (in this case, starting the game--I think). It's fine, I suppose)

It's probably a mistake to jump this song up an entire tier, but I'm going to go ahead and do it anyway. The simple fact is that this song nails the dramatic tension and succeeds in making me excited to see what happens next, which is impressive. I do wish we had a full song here because this awesome build is completely wasted at this topic where nothing happens afterwards, -BUT- an amazing song that leaves me desperately wanting more has to be at the "I like this" tier.

[Final Thoughts: I don't care, I really like this song. It manages a perfect dramatic build with tension, without becoming overly epic or boring. I do wish there was more here, but what's here is kinda perfect, so let's go ahead and jump this up another ten points.]

(First Reaction: I don't usually like the Zero Divide OSTs, or at least I haven't particularly liked any that I remember being nominated at other topics, but this track feels like it's several steps ahead of the rest. There's a nice "twinkling stars" type quality to parts of the song that's easy to vibe with.)

!An oddly motivational track. It has very "sitting inside your giant robot preparing for a large space battle" overtones, but there's a level of hope & confidence built in--alongside the beauty of the stars--that really elevates this track to the next tier.

[Final Thoughts: One of only a few songs to go up a tier each time I listen to it, I'm starting to really like the feel of this track.]
