Topic	My wife is applying for MAID (Medical assistance in death).

I love my wife dearly and I love the time we spend together so the prospect of having more time together does make me happy. That being said, I know she continues to suffer and feel like a weight on me (financially it is very difficult) and she doesn't have options for pain management or even for depression really. My sympathies. I would say try not to be bothered by the conflicted feelings. Allow yourself to be both happy and sad --- There is no good. There is no evil.
