Had Stripes 20/27, but it's not fresh in memory and reading the write-ups... yeah, it's not as much a buddy comedy as I remember. Harold Ramis was great, and seeing a bunch of SCTV actors is fun, and the RV stuff makes no sense but is the best part of the movie. Bill Murray is definitely grating, just from remembering him as a cabbie at the beginning. I'd probably rank it lower had I watched it. ...There really was no plot, was there. Estimated rank: 25/30.
