The other two pairs did more and hit their limit well before that. Noah and Mio were the most active of the three, and they lasted around 2:30 (assuming they transformed right before the cutscene started). I buy that they probably last around 2 minutes if they're taking the majority of the heat (and no, they aren't going to suicide themselves in an annihilation event.
