Unlike a mercenarys Writeup, which merely provides a general outline of a mercenarys capabilities and does not explicitly make clear what they will do in battle, abilities impose specific, concrete effects upon the days battle. Abilities are, by and large, not up for debate. For example, if an ability states an opponent will be frozen solid for the first 30 seconds of the match, then that effect is sacrosanct even if the targeted teams leader had a mercenary with a flamethrower, they could not argue that the ice could be melted ahead of schedule, as the effects is an ironclad rule imposed upon the match. Assume Mercenaries magic is responsible for it and roll with it instead
