I'm not talking about any conspiracy involving this board or Reddit, I'm talking about how it's their official policy for all of their sites, or at least that's what I've seen said. If that's the case then yeah it's not hard to believe if you think about a Trumper buying a bunch of websites and then closing political boards down because there's no real chance of luring Trumpers to the board in significant numbers, so better to just silence as many liberals as you can.

But yes, DToast is also absolutely atrocious at explaining this and has been extremely incompetent as ambassador/representative of them.

As another poster pointed out in another thread, both Toast and Allen have made contradictory statements without correcting or deleting their initial statement. It's like a shitfest orchestrated by dung beetles, though I guess dung beetles would probably be more organized and consistent.
