My previous reply was lacking the tonality necessary to actually engage you in meaningful discussion. Let me try again...

Feel free to ignore this question/statement if it's uncomfortable for you, or you simply don't feel qualified to answer. But, it appears as if the moderation team can't decide whether to take a firm stance against Fandom's recent decisions, or to support them because that's what they signed up for.

In regards to the quoted post, it seems as if you are trying to warn the community not to raise attention to Fandom so they can continue to maintain their political themed community boards. However, technically as a lead moderator wouldn't it be in your duty to support Fandom -- and since the current decree is "no politics" then isn't it in your duties to inform the administration of the existing political boards that have yet to be shut down?

Especially considering DToast stated in the other topic that the only reason RealPoliticks lasted as long as it did was because he wasn't aware of its existence, and as soon as it came into his radar he took action?

It's just a conflicting message right now on where the moderation team stands. Do you support and work with Fandom to enforce their policies, or are you all independent forces doing your own thing, and in some cases acting as a protective shield between the longtime community members and the newly appointed administration staff?

...wow

You would probably benefit from not assuming every word the mod staff is saying is some weird doublespeak.
