I mean look at the first episode of the entire series, which is easily still a top 3 episode. It's shocking that it took them this long to bring back humor into their dark humor series.

the issue is that for a lot of people, (especially viewers that started with netflix seasons), 1x01 is "that weird episode that you should skip because it's not like the rest of the show" when actually it lays out the entire concept of the show - a concept which does not need to be dramatic rather than comedic and doesn't need to involve crazy future sci-fi tech. hence why any time an episode isn't a super dark sci-fi thriller people say it "didn't really feel like black mirror" when those aren't actually the things that make black mirror black mirror. (except they kind of are once the show got netflix-ified so hey maybe they're right)
