The religious folk toss in some element of divine will and whatnot, but most people's personal morals pit them against killing people without needing that. The question then becomes a matter of what constitutes "people" (not my preferred approach to the issue, since that's fundamentally arbitrary and I'd prefer to avoid gatekeeping the concept whenever possible) and when it's acceptable to kill them (since everyone agrees that there are circumstances where using lethal force is justifiable). --- This is my signature.
