Barry is not exactly my favorite rival of the games I've played. Silver's is a bit of an edgelord for my liking, and the X/Y rivals are... something, but Barry is kinda like letting loose an orange cat on the world. The only tension involved with him is hoping he doesn't hurt himself. And yet, his track is so good. Again, it doesn't portray tension, because there really isn't any when fighting him, so that's fine. It just fits a nice, friendly ADHD dope like him.

I'm throwing my vote for most underrated track in the series to this. This is the polar opposite of Barry's theme. We're going from no tension to all the tension! It accompanies some of the better plot twists in the game. I'll never forget the moment Phoenix exclaims in 2-2, "Who is the person at the witness stand right now?" with this track blaring. It's my favorite moment in the game outside of Case 4, and it's helped out a lot by this track being so good.

I didn't like this song much when I first heard it. It was a little all over the place for me. But having come to love the series so much, with this tune at the forefront of like 12 other tracks, it's grown on me a ton. It helps that its usage in Case 6 was so perfect, it gave me goosebumps.

It feels kinda weird that the more powerful powers than the Super CO ones don't have quite the same oomph as they do, but I still really like the good guy version. The Black Hole version is unfortunately pretty lackluster.
