2. Scarlet/Violet - Ace Academy Tournament
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK20iZfOU1k

I tell you what. If this song was actually used for any kind of remotely challenging postgame content, this might be #1. Hell, even if I could just swap this with the Tera Raid music, I'd still be doing Raids every single day. It starts off at an 11/10 and barely ever slows down.

We have a saying here in Kansas. If you don't like the weather here, just wait 20 minutes and it'll change. Well, if you don't like the Ace Academy theme, just wait 15 seconds and it'll give you something new to work with. Dunno why anybody wouldn't, though. In line with the Allegro them write-up I did before, I have a huge soft spot for catchy toe-tapper themes. This is the absolute best example of one Pokemon has ever had to offer.

2. Pursuit ~ Cornered
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxnvGDK0WGM

You knew it. I knew it. Everyone fucking knew this would be here somewhere. I legitimately don't think the Ace Attorney series survives as long as it does without this one track. I don't even think that's a stretch of a take to have. So many epic scenes take place to this tune: the Cody breakdown, the Gumshoe save, the Edgeworth face turn, the Larry interjection, the metal detector, Gant's desperation. I'm pretty sure it has the best track record for awesome moments in the whole series. To its credit, some of those scenes aren't nearly as awesome if they aren't accompanied by exactly this track. You think I'd care about Cody bawling his eyes out over some superhero shit otherwise? Of course not. But it still is an epic moment because of it.

2. Climax Reasoning V3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXI2gWR_fo8

V3's soundtrack is strangely low on tension when it comes to its soundtrack, compared to the other games. The investigation tunes are snazzier, the main theme is jazzier, and when doing the comic books, you can even forget all about the fact that 2 or 3 of your classmates are going to die in the 3 hours surrounding that point in time. I enjoy just letting this theme wash over me. It fits the protag of V3 well, too. In the previous games, the main characters were really gung-ho about avenging their dead friends. V3's doesn't really want to be right about their deductions, and this theme protrays their general reluctance well.

2. Jess's Theme
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2INtsxVg038
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDJ-iUG3r5Y

This theme has grown on me so hard recently. I didn't think much of it back in the GBA and DS days, but the Reboot has given me a new appreciation for it. Listening back to her old version now, I almost like it as much as the new versions. I can't decide which is the best between the two Reboot versions, though. I like the first half of the normal version better, with its industrial feel to it, but I really like the faster tempo for the second half a lot. The part when the guitar comes in at 0:55 til the end of the loop gives me shivers.
