There's precedent for letting people get away with stealing documents (Sandy Berger), January 6 is seriously overblown (it was a riot, this should be over), and Stormy Daniels has a lot of grey area. The Georgia thing sounds a lot more serious and harder to explain away. If the left really wanted to be rid of Trump, they wouldn't give him so much airtime.
