It's not "tragedy of the commons" it's how life works. We're all causing fractional deaths all the time because we can't see past what's immediately in front of us. The only difference is now we have a button, immediately in front of us, to press to represent we don't care about random people as much as we like to pretend we do. You'd have a better hypothetical to signify the 10 deaths thing is if it was smaller scale like the Dark Knight social experiment thing. --- No problem!
