Did I "vehemently argue" that point? Or did I just make the post you quoted? I really can't imagine making a multi-post argument on that subject, but yeah I probably did ask for evidence for a claim that she was paid by Russia. I happen to think that it's important to have evidence for one's claims, even and especially when those claims are ideologically convenient.

When you start treating a request for evidence as inherently suspect, it's easy to find oneself in some silly positions.

To be clear, I think MTG's politics are noxious, and she's probably in the running for worst member of congress, a race more competitive than her district will ever see. But a specific claim that someone is being paid by Russia is deserving of scrutiny.
