I'm not a tech support guy but I've built and fixed and PC for a long time, and if it's one thing I've learned to be the absolute truth in this world it's that people never read shit fully. To be completely blunt, this isn't an issue with 2FA. It's an issue with your friend being an absolute dumbass beyond all reason.
