Spock just sticking a very visible homing device on Kirks shoulder so he can be traced later is hilarious-to name one of the many contrivances that move the plot along. Glad Kirk didnt change his jacket before the trial! But: ST: UC just feels right, you know? The music and visuals are great, the characters we love are all in fine form, the goodbye is poignant, and General Chang is just a wonderful scene chewing villain. I love the movie, even though parts of it make me roll my eyes a bit.
